Graham Potter has strengthened at full-back with a goalkeeper, midfielder and striker still on the shopping list at West Ham.

West Ham have endured a slow start to the transfer window compared to Premier League rivals but the club are slowly whirring into life having banked £55 million through the sale of Mohammed Kudus.

Graham Potter has had a lot of work to do this summer after a disappointing half campaign last year and new signings are starting to arrive at the London Stadium. The Hammers begin the Premier League season with a trip to newly promoted Sunderland this month.

LondonWorld looks at how West Ham could line up for that visit to the Stadium of Light, if current transfer rumours come true.

West Ham transfer XI if rumours are true

Goalkeeper: Michael Cooper

Centre-Backs: Max Kilman, Jean-Clair Todibo, Giovanni Leoni

A goalkeeper remains a priority transfer for West Ham. Veteran Lukasz Fabianski left this summer as a free agent and while Alphonse Areola remains number one, there’s a feeling that the Frenchman needs competition for that spot. The latest name to emerge as a frontrunner is Sheffield United man Michael Cooper with The Sun carrying reports of a £15 million bid.

Jean-Clair Todibo’s move to the London Stadium has been made permanent and he will continue to partner Max Kilman. It remains to be seen whether Nayef Aguerd remains at the club but Corriere dello Sport has linked the Hammers with a swoop for highly rated Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.

Wing-Backs: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, El Hadji Malick Diouf

Midfielders: James Ward-Prowse, Freddie Potts, Jacob Ramsey

West Ham are certainly well stocked when it comes to the full-back position. Aaron Wan-Bissaka was one of few Hammers bright sparks last term and El Hadji Malick Diouf has been snapped up from Slavia Prague for £19 million and looks set to make the opposite flank his own. Kyle Walker-Peters has also arrived on a free transfer following his departure from Southampton.

The central midfield roles need new life after the Hammers lacked bite last season. Carlos Soler has returned to Paris Saint-Germain after his underwhelming loan spell and Tomas Soucek continues to be linked with a move to Everton. Freddie Potts is back from his loan stay at Portsmouth and looks raring to go with James Ward-Prowse appearing to be a Potter favourite. Fresh reports this week suggest that West Ham could move for Aston Villa man Jacob Ramsey for additional flair, with ExWHUEmployee reporting on feelers being put out.

Newcastle United striker in talks over London Stadium free transfer

Strikers: Jarrod Bowen, Callum Wilson

Jarrod Bowen kept his goalscoring exploits up last season but will be looking for a helping hand next term with Mohammed Kudus already having left the London Stadium to join Tottenham Hotspur on a £55 million transfer.

Niclas Fullkrug has featured in pre-season and will hope to stay fitter for longer next year. He could have competition from Callum Wilson, who has left Newcastle United as a free agent and the BBC have confirmed that West Ham are in talks over signing the bagsman.
