Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in AIK Fotboll youngster Kevin Filling.
That’s according to Expressen, relayed by Fotboll Transfers, who report Manchester United and Tottenham have clear plans for the forward.
The 16-year-old joined AIK in 2023 and was sent on loan to lower division Swedish side Enköpings SK FK earlier this year. He scored a goal from three games and returned to his parent club.
Filling made his first team debut at the end of June. He played 84 minutes and scored in his side’s 3-0 win over IFK Göteborg. That has been the Swede’s only senior appearance for AIK so far.
Manchester United and Tottenham are said to have taken noticed of him and both are showing interest in signing him.
Filling will turn 18 years of age in November 2026 and until then, the Premier League duo won’t be able to bring him to the UK.
Manchester United are co-owned by INEOS, who also own FC Lausanne-Sport. It’s claimed the Red Devils want to sign Filling and then send him on loan the Swiss club. Tottenham’s plan is to buy the striker and let him stay at AIK, to continue his development.
The youngster’s contract expires in 2028 and AIK have no plan to sell him. Whether that can change if Manchester United or Tottenham were to make an offer remains to be seen.
