Everton need to step up their recruitment drive this summer as David Moyes has made his feelings very clear.
Not enough has been done in the market by the Everton chiefs ahead of the new season kicking off.
Moyes has demanded more signings at Everton on the back of Adam Aznou joining up with his side earlier this week.
It was always going to be a huge summer for the Toffees, with the stadium move and new money available for the club to spend.
However, it has not been easy for the club to bring in players, with Moyes shocked at how difficult Everton have found the market.
Perhaps the Blues need to slightly adjust their targets. The Friedkins want to make a statement signing at Everton this summer, but that may prove more difficult than first thought.
It has now been suggested Everton are eyeing a player from Chelsea to potentially come and strengthen their options.

Everton register interest in Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Everton have held long-term interest in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, but that may have now taken a step forward in recent days.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Having added Carlos Alcaraz on a permanent deal, it is now time for the Blues to add another option to bolster the midfield.
According to Paul Joyce, Everton are showing interest in Dewsbury-Hall among a list of other current Premier League players.
The ongoing interest in an opportunistic deal for Jack Grealish was also mentioned in the report.
Joyce does claim that Moyes is looking to add two more midfielders this summer, which would hint towards Douglas Luiz still being on their radar.
Everton are keen to sign Luiz from Juventus, but they face strong competition from the likes of Nottingham Forest.
Adding another player alongside Luiz is what Moyes wants on the back of what he has seen so far in pre-season.
What Martin Keown said about Dewsbury-Hall
Ironically, just a matter of hours before Joyce published the article, Gabriel Agbonlahor urged Everton to sign Dewsbury-Hall.
This is a player who has not had it easy at Chelsea and has struggled for minutes, given their crazy spending habits.
However, he has shown plenty of quality during their Europa Conference League campaign last season, which they ended up winning.
Speaking on TNT Sports, Martin Keown admitted this is a player who could add a lot of quality to another club.
“He’s definitely growing, You know, he’s a bit of a late bloomer,” said Keown.
"His attitude in this competition has been first class"

“This is the type of game [Europa Conference League] where he can be a star player with all of the youngsters around him.”
