Saudi club plot audacious Manchester United raid – Jorge Jesus driving push from Al Nassr

There’s no rest for the Saudi rumour mill. After snapping up João Félix in a rapid-fire deal, Al Nassr are reportedly eyeing an even bigger name: Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.

According to A BOLA, Jorge Jesus wants the midfielder in Riyadh this summer, with the idea of reuniting him not only with Cristiano Ronaldo but also with the coach who gave him his Sporting debut back in 2017/18.

The plan? Create a Portuguese core that could reshape the Saudi Pro League hierarchy, and maybe raise a few eyebrows at Old Trafford.

The report claims that money isn’t an obstacle – not the valuation and not even the fact that Bruno recently turned down a monster offer from Al Hilal.

Al Nassr seem to believe that the combination of JJ on the touchline and CR7 in the dressing room could be persuasive enough, which feels wildly optimistic.

A BOLA suggests that the first contact may have already taken place, just between player and club, for now. That would make sense: test the waters, see if it’s worth picking up the phone to Manchester.

It’s still early days, but the idea of Bruno Fernandes joining João Félix and Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia would be a market bombshell. Whether United and manager Ruben Amorim would even entertain the thought is another story entirely.
