Chelsea have loaned out Armando Broja to several clubs throughout his career so far, but he’s now expected to exit Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.
It is quite remarkable that Armando Broja, 23, has been with Chelsea since he joined the club’s academy as an Under-9.
The centre-forward has played 38 first-team games for the Blues, but the bulk of his success in senior football has come out on loan. Of course, the greatest frustration around his career so far has been the frequent injury interruptions.

Armando Broja’s first-team record
Reports on Friday claimed that Burnley have agreed a deal to buy Broja, with the player expected to seal a move to Turf Moor imminently. Scott Parker’s Burnley side are likely to be in the thick of a relegation battle in the new Premier League season, but can Broja be the man to steer them to safety?

Chelsea could receive up to £20m for Armando Broja
According to BBC Sport, Burnley and Chelsea have reached an agreement over the permanent transfer of Broja this summer.
It is claimed that the move could be worth up to £20m, even though sources are unclear on the exact price.
If true, Chelsea deserve a lot of credit for negotiating such a large fee. The sale would be pure profit because of his roots to the academy, and his reputation has taken a bit of a hit after a quiet season-long loan at Everton last year.
The signs were there that the striker didn’t have a future at Stamford Bridge when Broja was left off Chelsea’s 2024 pre-season tour. After an uneventful spell with Everton, the Blues have decided to cash in rather than give him another loan.

Marc Guiu must not become another Armando Broja
We actually see plenty of similarities between 19-year-old Chelsea striker Marc Guiu and a younger version of Broja, especially in terms of raw pace and intelligent movement.
Unlike Broja, we hope Guiu’s development is smooth and he can carve out a successful future in West London.
