Son Heung Min announces decision to leave Tottenham in emotional speech

Tottenham captain Son Heung Min has announced his decision to leave the club this summer in an emotional speech.

Son said he needs a "fresh challenge" and a "new environment" after 10 years with the club, calling it the most difficult decision of his career.

“I came to north London as a kid, 23 years old, such a young age. I leave the club as a grown man, a very proud man,” he said.

Son recently led Spurs to Europa League glory, ending the club's 17-year trophy drought with a 1-0 victory over Manchester United. He has made 454 appearances and scored 173 goals for the club since joining in 2015.

MLS side Los Angeles FC (LAFC) are reportedly leading the race to sign the forward.
