Former Nottingham Forest left-back Harry Toffolo is about to embark on the next challenge in his career after departing the City Ground in the summer.
Toffolo departed Forest upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the 24/25 season, ending a three-year association with the club.
The Forest squad were clearly gutted to see the left-back leave, with Morgan Gibbs-White posting a message to Toffolo to wish the 29-year-old good luck.
There was talk that Rangers were interested in Toffolo, but Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that his next move will take the full-back further afield.

Harry Toffolo set for MLS move after Nottingham Forest exit
Toffolo arrived at Forest in 2022, having featured for Huddersfield Town in the Championship play-off final.
The 29-year-old made over 20 appearances in two consecutive seasons at the City Ground before taking up a reduced role under Nuno Espírito Santo in 24/25.
His exit was best for all parties, then, with his next adventure taking him across the pond to the MLS to play for Charlotte FC.

Romano confirmed that Toffolo has agreed to a three-year contract with Charlotte, with only medical tests left to do to finalise the move.
Previous reports had suggested that Toffolo has already attended a Charlotte game as he acclimatises to his new surroundings, joining a side who sit within the play-off places in the Eastern Conference, which also features Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami.
Perhaps most exciting for Toffolo, though, is that he will slot into a left side that already features a Premier League cult hero for him to combine with.
Harry Toffolo will link up with Wilfried Zaha at Charlotte FC
Toffolo may have only made one Premier League start last season, but he certainly produced a display that Forest fans will remember.
Forest supporters were in awe of Toffolo’s display against Tottenham in April after he stepped in to replace the injured Ola Aina, form he’ll be looking to take to the MLS where he will be joined by former Crystal Palace star, Wilfried Zaha.
Zaha is the star attraction in Charlotte, scoring six goals and producing five assists in the league so far. These numbers could begin to soar with the influence of Toffolo behind him if the pair can form a strong partnership midway through the season.
Forest fans will be keeping a keen eye on Toffolo’s progress out in the US, with the Englishman universally respected at the City Ground.
