Armando Broja is reportedly on the verge of sealing a permanent transfer to Burnley after the Clarets reached an agreement with CHELSEA for the striker to finally leave the club.
The 22-year-old forward has endured a difficult few years, beginning with an Achilles tendon rupture that sidelined him for a lengthy spell. Unfortunately, further misfortune followed when he sustained a significant ankle injury shortly after returning to action.
Broja has then been constantly linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge, all sorts of switches have been mentioned over the past few transfer window, but nothing has come to fruition and many fans forgot that he played for the club.
However – Broja is reportedly on the verge of sealing a permanent transfer to Burnley after the Clarets reached an agreement with Chelsea.
The deal has progressed rapidly, with Broja now expected to undergo a medical examination later on Saturday before completing the move. The Albania international has been cleared to travel as final preparations are made for the transfer to be completed, as claimed by Fabrice Hawkins.
IcChelseanews Says…
This is a move that needed to happen, Broja has struggled with injuries over the past few years and needs a fresh start away from the club, on a permanent basis. This move to Burnley should help reignite his career and get him back to scoring goals on a regular basis.
We are sad that he could produce his best stuff for the club, but a move away is the right thing to do.
