Everton will be hoping to get back on track when they take on Manchester United on Sunday.
Everton have failed to win any of their four pre-season games thus far, losing the last three on the bounce.
The Toffees’ most recent defeat was a 2-1 loss against West Ham (30 July), with the Hammers coming from behind after Idrissa Gueye opened the scoring within 20 minutes of the first whistle.
As a result, David Moyes will be looking to improve his team’s fate when they travel to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to face Manchester United (3 August).

Man United v Everton preview
Manchester United will be keen to continue their positive momentum into Sunday’s confrontation after a triumphant 4-1 victory against Bournemouth earlier this week.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Meanwhile, winless Moyes will be searching for his first victory of the summer. Another defeat could be enough for the Toffees to accelerate their summer plans, with Tyler Dibling the latest name to be linked with an arrival.

But with United already having a clear pathway ahead and Everton still scrambling to pick up the pieces, it could be a very difficult battle for the Blues.

Team News
The Toffees welcomed James Tarkowski back against West Ham after the defender spent three months on the sidelines. Tarkowski featured for the final 20 minutes of the confrontation and is likely to play further minutes against United.
Star centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite has not travelled to America after picking up an injury against Blackburn Rovers. He is not expected to feature for the rest of pre-season or return in time for the start of the Premier League season.
New signing Thierno Barry could be handed his first start for the Toffees, while Harrison Armstrong takes a breather on the bench after playing the full 90 against West Ham.

Predicted lineups
Everton: Pickford; Patterson, Keane, Tarkowski, Mykolenko; Gana, Iroegbunam, Alcaraz; Ncneil, Ndiaye, Barry
Manchester United: Heaton, Yoro, Maguire, Shaw; de Ligt, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dorgu; Diallo, Mount; Hojlund

Prediction: Manchester United 3-1 Everton
A win against United would be the perfect way to breathe some hope into the players for the forthcoming season. However, after a difficult couple of games, a victory seems to be too premature.
The Toffees are still lacking in several sectors, and with the injury to Branthwaite and Tarkowski just returning, it will be difficult to keep their opposition at bay.
Hopefully, once their key players begin to return and more signings are made, Everton will fare better once the season commences.
