Club speak to Chelsea man’s representatives – He’s at turning point in his career

Inter Milan have spoken to Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku in the last few days ahead of a possible move for him.

That’s according to L’Equipe, who report that the Champions League finalists have been interacting with the Frenchman’s representatives for the last few days.

According to the newspaper’s information, Nkunku is not considered an absolute sale priority by Chelsea this summer. Manager Enzo Maresca believes he could be a part of his plans in future.

But the 27-year-old is unlikely to be happy with a rotation role at best and believes he is now at a turning point in his career, particularly if he wants to play regularly for France.

Bayern Munich could return to the charge for him after showing interest in January, but in recent days it is Inter Milan who have been talking to his entourage. They want to know the possible conditions for a move.

Clubs from the ‘second part’ of the Premier League have also made enquiries but Nkunku plans to player for a ‘very high-level’ club and has batted those efforts away.

Whether Inter Milan fall into that category, it’s easy to believe that they would, remains to be discovered but they have made enquiries in the last few days.
