Report: Leeds United told Championship star will cost just £6m, but it’s attracted Angus Kinnear

Daniel Farke will be strengthening his full-back area for Leeds United, and James Justin remains the top candidate.

The Leicester City defender could be the man that the Leeds hierarchy see fit to bring in to compete with Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson.

Justin can play on either side of the defence, which is a handy asset to have in the Premier League, and Farke will surely like his credentials.

After Leeds have shown a ‘serious interest’ in Justin, the 27-year-old could be keen on a return to the top flight following his relegation with the Foxes last campaign.

But the time to act is now for the Whites, as his price tag has been revealed, and it’s an absolute bargain.

Leeds United target James Justin is worth just £6m but Everton interest emerges

Following the links to the Englishman, Leeds fans are very happy with Justin, with his key factor of versatility standing out.

But it appears that the Whites aren’t the only ones looking to sign the multi-tasking full-back, as Everton are also in the market for the Leicester star’s services, according to The Times.

The outlet states that Justin will be available for a remarkable £6 million, and taking into account his Premier League experience and attacking intent from defence, this would be some deal.

Of course, the downside is that Angus Kinnear is once again involving himself with another Whites target.

The Toffees have caused Farke problems in this window, and they will not back down when it comes to Justin.

James Justin might favour Everton over Leeds United with a starting place likely

Fans must be tired of yet another battle between David Moyes and the Peacocks, as both clubs seem to be in the same boat with transfers.

But when it comes to Justin, it’s the Toffees who could hold the advantage due to the current squad status.

This is due to Everton not quite having a nailed-on right-back this season, whereas the Whites have Jayden Bogle who’s been ‘world class’ in pre-season, and obviously showed immaculate form last campaign.

Of course, the Leicester player can play left-back, but Gudmundsson will certainly have something to say about that.

So this leaves a move to Merseyside as possibly his most desired option, due to the game time at play, but the silver lining is that Leeds could avoid Justin’s injuries if he does make a move to Everton.

Nothing is set in stone yet, and the Whites shouldn’t give up, as £6 million is great business for a player who would suit Farke’s set-up to a tee.
