Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today…
It has been claimed in the media that Liverpool could be closing in on a possible deal for Brazilian star Rodrygo, after the Real Madrid areportedly agreed in informal offer of personal terms with the Reds.
Rodrygo scored 13 goals and provided over 10 assists in over 50 appearances last season, but Tension has been building between the Brazilian and Real with the winger unhappy with his role in the team with his relationship with his teammates deteriorating significantly.
The former Santos starlet, who joined Real for €45million in 2018, is ‘angry’ with his diminished role and it has been claimed that he would be open to leaving the Spaniards over the next few weeks.
Liverpool have just sold attacker Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich for a fee of £70 million and reports have claimed that Arne Slot would like to buy an immediate replacement for the attacker.
And according to the journalist (via Transfer News Daily), “Liverpool have spoken to the entourage of Rodrygo, and the Real Madrid forward has approved an informal offer of personal terms.”
However, It was claimed Real will be demanding a fee of €100million (£87m) for the player, and Liverpool may not be ready to pay such an amount for the attacker.

Rodrygo has been world class for a few seasons, he is playing at Real and scoring the goals that big time players should be scoring, but his time at the club is probably coming to the end as the Spaniards look to keep on improving the side.
LIVERPOOL have done some great business already this transfer window, are looking at a few more deals, so adding Rodrygo to the side would be an immediate replacement for Luis Diaz, and probably the right replacement at that.
NUNEZ IN TALKS OVER MOVE
Darwin Nunez could still be on the way out of LIVERPOOL this summer as reports state talks are continuing with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, it has been claimed by Fabrizio Romano this weekend.
Liverpool fans have been underwhelmed by Nunez’s contributions, with the Uruguay international scoring 39 goals in 125 appearances for the Reds, despite being in one of the most creative sides in the Premier League.
That has led to alot of speculation in the media that he is one player that Arne Slot would be open to letting go this transfer window, especially as the club were reportedly interested in signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle this summer.
Now it seems that Nunez will leave Liverpool this summer, as reported by Fabrizio Romano on X, Al-Hilal remain in talks with Nunez’s representatives and the Uruguayan is high on their list of transfer targets for this summer.
The transfer guru states Liverpool are open to a permanent sale and talks over a move for the 26-year-old will continue in the coming days.

Nunez is a quality player that has been a very good option for Arne Slot this season, he has been a vital piece of why the Reds have been so good, but this is a new era under Arne Slot and players will be allowed to leave.
If Nunez does leave the club in the next few weeks, then that will surely open the door for LIVERPOOL to complete the signing of Isak, Slot will want to have two strikers for the club next season.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, but we believe that Nunez leaving will open the door for the arrival of Isak.
ISAK DECISION MADE
LIVERPOOL will not lodge a second bid for Alexander Isak after their initial offer of £110million was rejected by Newcastle, which will hand Arsenal a massive boost going into the new Premier League season.
The Premier League champions were keen on landing the Swedish centre-forward despite splashing £69m on Hugo Ekitike, whom they beat Newcastle to the signing of last month.

It was yesterday widely reported that Newcastle have rejected Liverpool’s first official offer for Isak, as Arne Slot was open to signing the big man, but the Reds have now called time on negotiations as they dont want to pay over the odds for the big star.
The Premier League champions will not make a second bid for the Swede, with Ben Jacobs reporting that they consider the pursuit ‘futile’.
The nature of Newcastle’s rejection has led them to abandon their attempts to sign the player. The Magpies were known to be ‘desperate’ to keep hold of the player, who was open to the move.
IcFootballnews Says…
If Liverpool did manage to sign one of the best strikers around, a man that has already proven that he can score 20 goals in the Premier League, they would once again be firm favourites to win that title, the Reds have already made some brilliant signings this summer.
But there us still plenty of time for any potential move to happen, if the reports are not true and Liverpool will go back in, that attack next season will be even more dangerous than it is now.
But is Isak cant get a move to LIVERPOOL, where does he go now?
