Jorgen Strand Larsen is becoming a secret agent in the Wolves camp, this time playing his part in David Moller Wolfe’s move to Molineux.
In June, Strand Larsen was pictured with Fer Lopez on holiday, and no doubt persuaded the Spaniard to seal his £19.5 million transfer to Wolves.
Strand Larsen told Lopez about the Wolves fans, explaining how good they are and why he should move on from Celta Vigo.
A similar scenario has unfolded with Wolves’ £10m signing of David Moller Wolfe, who has played alongside the towering centre-forward for Norway.
Wolfe was talked up by Strand Larsen as an ideal replacement for Rayan Ait-Nouri, and now he’s given reasons why he’s an upgrade in that position.

Jorgen Strand Larsen raves about David Moller Wolfe’s physicality
Statistics show how Wolfe ranks close to Ait-Nouri across multiple metrics, even beating the Algerian for final third entries per game.
The 23-year-old promises to become the first-choice in the left wing-back position ahead of Rodrigo Gomes and Hugo Bueno, who could leave Wolves as a result.
Strand Larsen has now explained why Wolfe’s physicality and height make him a better option than they already have at wing-back.

“He’s a really, really physical guy,” Strand Larsen told the Wolves’ official website. “Quite tall – obviously he’s Norwegian, so that’s how we are built. But he’s a tall left-back, runs up and down the wing, wants to give crosses, really physical, hard to beat one against one defensively. He likes to play with the wingers, one-twos. A really good, young, talented player.
“Obviously, we have a lot of them already here, but I think he might give us something different to what we have already at wing-back. He is probably more physical than the rest and he will come here and give his all from the first minute, because he’s a hard worker like myself, and he just wants to come here and prove that he’s good enough.”
Physicality is a crucial element for any player to thrive in the Premier League, and combining Wolfe’s strength with his pace and crossing ability, he should become an instant hit.
Strand Larsen is excited about Wolfe’s crossing
There were complaints throughout last season about the lack of service being played into Strand Larsen, who often was isolated at the top end of the pitch.
But with the likes of Wolfe, Lopez and Jhon Arias all feeding the ball into the 25-year-old, he’s excited about the assist potential.
“Both him and Fer know that when they come here, OK, I helped them as an agent, but they know where the crosses need to go,” he said.
“I think that’s good for me too, because obviously last year I had a really good connection with a few of the players who have left – Nelson, Rayan, Cunha, Pablo all gave me assists in the season.
“So, definitely we need to find players that can continue to do it. I think we are now building a really good team where we have loads of quality behind me as a striker, Sasa, ‘Channy’, we have really good number 10s and wing backs that can give us loads of assists hopefully.”
Strand Larsen has been linked to Newcastle, but any chance of success next season will hinge on the Norwegian, which is why Wolves want at least £65 million for him.
