Odsonne Edouard is on his way out of Crystal Palace.
The Frenchman signed for the Premier League outfit from Celtic in August 2021 in a deal worth £14m after making 179 appearances for the Hoops.
But Edouard’s time in London hasn’t gone to plan. Despite scoring twice on his Premier League debut, he’s only netted 21 goals in over 100 games for the club.
He endured a disastrous spell out on loan to Leicester City last season, before returning to Selhurst Park and being told he wasn’t going to feature in manager Oliver Glasner’s plans.
Now, Edouard has seemingly found a new club.

Celtic-linked Edouard set for Girona switch
According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, Edouard is on the verge of a £5.2m switch to Spanish side Girona.
The transfer deal has almost been agreed and it will see Girona’s Arnau Martínez head in the other direction for around €10m plus bonuses.
He’s in the final year of his contract at Palace, so it appears they are willing to cut their losses and take as much as they can before he would leave for nothing next summer.
Edouard was briefly linked with a shock return to Celtic, but the speculation fizzled out pretty quickly.

Girona finished a lowly 16th last season in La Liga after securing third place and Champions League league phase football the year prior.
They found themselves in 33rd place at the end of the league phase campaign last season, winning just one game and losing seven.
Celtic secured 21st spot, which was enough to qualify for the knockout phase play-offs.
Could Edouard push Bojan Miovski towards Celtic?
Girona have former Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski in their ranks, and he’s someone who has been linked with Celtic on and off for the past couple of seasons.
Miovski struggled for his new club last season and it was reported by AS that Girona would be open to offers for the North Macedonian forward.
Celtic have already signed two strikers this summer in Callum Osmand and Shin Yamada, but Miovski could be an easier deal to do now.
He would easily be the best striker at the club if signed because he is proven at Scottish Premiership level having scored countless times in an Aberdeen shirt.
