West Ham look set to add former Newcastle and Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson to their forward line.
Wilson, 33, was released by Newcastle over the summer and looks set to be on his way to East London in hopes of recapturing his old form.
With Niclas Fullkrug failing to impress last season, there appears to be an opening for Wilson to lead the line in E20 under Graham Potter on a consistent basis.
The West Ham faithful will be happy to see the Englishman in a claret and blue shirt, with the striker holding a remarkable record against the Hammers.

Wilson’s arrival brings relief to supporters
Despite there being some scepticism surrounding a move for Wilson, and rightly so, the forward is undoubtedly a talented player.
Injury record: Wilson is known to be very injury-prone, limiting him to just two Premier League starts last season.
Age: At 33, Wilson’s best days may be behind him, with the striker failing to score in the league last season.

For the time being, it looks as though no more will be at the expense of West Ham, with the forward having an exceptional record against the East London outfit – something Hammers fans will be all too familiar with.

West Ham still need another striker
If Potter wants to hit the ground running in his first full season in charge, getting another striker in will be needed at the London Stadium.
Wilson has been an outstanding striker in the past, but relying on him in 2025 is a risk that could ultimately cost Potter his job.
However, with West Ham’s opening day fixture on the horizon against Sunderland, a debut goal for Wilson would go a long way in terms of silencing any doubt about handing the free agent a lifeline.
