Wolves have travelled to Girona for their next pre-season match after going winless in their opening four games.
On Wednesday night, Wolves were beaten 3-1 by RC Lens, producing an unacceptable second-half performance against the Ligue 1 side.
Wolves fans were concerned by the lack of squad depth on show at the Bescott Stadium, ordering Fosun to loosen the purse strings and make more signings.
It seems the owners are listening to the concerns, as Wolves saw a £10 million bid accepted for David Moller Wolfe on Thursday evening and have now announced him, with the Norwegian seen as a direct replacement for Rayan Ait-Nouri.
While Wolfe looks like a promising signing, one player already at the club has left Pereira annoyed with his performances in pre-season.

Vitor Pereira left ‘frustrated’ by Emmanuel Agbadou in pre-season
Emmanuel Agbadou was outstanding for Wolves after signing in the January transfer window, and was arguably one of the Premier League’s best defenders in the final months of the campaign.
Virgil van Dijk was even impressed with Agbadou against Liverpool in February, as the 28-year-old shone in central defence despite losing at Anfield.
The Ivorian will be a crucial player for Pereira during the 2025/26 season, but currently, his performances in pre-season have left him ‘frustrated’.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
That is according to Express & Star journalist Nathan Judah, who has observed some ‘terrible’ mistakes from the defensive powerhouse.
“Emmanuel Agbadou, in both games, made some terrible mistakes, giving the ball away, very casual on the ball, very lazy,” Judah said on the E&S podcast.
“Saying that, I’m not concerned in the slightest when it comes to the season. I do feel like almost, it’s too easy, he’s someone who needs to be challenged, and maybe it’s just a lack of concentration at the time. I think it’s that.
“Vitor’s been very frustrated with watching Agbadou and how casual he has been. But even in Portugal, it just didn’t look quite right. And I know he will be ready to go at Manchester City.”
Agbadou apologised to Pereira after being too slow and laboured in possession, something he will need to improve on ahead of their clash against Manchester City.
Wolves strongest back five is taking shape
Some poor days at the office are a rarity for Agbadou, whose performances in the Premier League have been excellent since arriving at Molineux.
Agbadou is nailed on to start in the middle of a back three with Toti Gomes on the left, although who is deployed on the right side remains unclear, with Matt Doherty and Yerson Mosquera battling for the spot.

Wolves’ current defensive options – as of 27/07/25
Currently, the biggest issue for Wolves is in the wing-back areas, though their business is beginning to take shape. Wolfe has joined the club, replacing Ait-Nouri, while Wolves are battling Napoli for Juanlu Sanchez.
Wolves want a right wing-back before they kick off their campaign against Man City; however, it remains to be seen whether they can pip Napoli to the post in their pursuit of Juanlu.
