Report: Man City set staggering cost for Everton to sign Jack Grealish on loan, more than Adam…

Jack Grealish has been the name on Everton’s transfer list for the entirety of the summer.

There has been plenty of back and forth regarding Grealish’s Man City future, as David Moyes wants a say in it.

Man City’s winger has been shut out by Pep Guardiola, as it seems like the 29-year-old will be making a move.

After his £100m transfer to Manchester, the Toffees clearly feel that the England international can offer something in this new look project, as Grealish joining Everton is going well.

But the former Aston Villa man no doubt comes with a cost, and his loan fees might make the Everton hierarchy take a step back a bit.

Jack Grealish joining Everton on loan from Man City will cost £12m

A winger is needed in the squad as Everton fans don’t want Jack Harrison returning as a last-minute option.

The City player has been the main target it seems, but it’s the value of the deal that could really put The Friedkin Group off.

Everton wouldn’t pay Grealish’s £40 million asking price, so the next best thing is to pay £12 million for a loan deal.

That’s according to The Times, who understand that Guardiola’s side are looking to recoup as much of his £300k-a-week wage as possible, as other additional fees in the move could see this figure paid.

But it’s been made clear that Everton aren’t fussed about the finances on a player that would immediately improve them.

It’s quite a remarkable fee for just a loan deal, but it seems like the only choice Everton have.

Everton loan deal for Jack Grealish will cost more than Adam Aznou signing

Although it’s been a quiet window, it seems like the Everton owners are finally putting their words into action.

The Toffees completed the £8 million deal for Bayern Munich defender Adam Aznou on Tuesday, as the youngster comes with promise.

But the astonishing fact is that even though Grealish’s move is a loan deal, the funds used will be more than the fee paid for the young Moroccan, proving how expensive it really is.

Even with Aznou’s add-ons, which equals £10.4 million, the winger’s move is still worth more.

As Moyes wants to build a team around Grealish, it seems like the Scotsman is doing whatever it takes to land a deal, no matter the cost.
