Chelsea’s Armando Broja is widely expected to complete a move to Burnley this summer. As a result, the Clarets fans have given a very interesting response.
Armando Broja is a Chelsea academy graduate tipped for big things from a young age, but he’s not quite been able to carve a career for himself at Stamford Bridge. After several loan spells, the 23-year-old striker could now finally secure a permanent exit.
Burnley have agreed to buy Broja to help them with their attempt to stay in the Premier League in the new season.
The Albania international definitely needs a fresh start following a run of horrible injury luck and some underwhelming loan spells. Apparently, Burnley could pay up to £20m for Broja, which feels like quite a smart sale from Chelsea.

Burnley fans predict Armando Broja to shine under Scott Parker
Scott Parker, who led Burnley to Championship promotion last season with 100 points, will get another crack at managing in the Premier League. According to Burnley fans on X, Parker could be the perfect coach to get the best out of Broja.
One fan wrote: “People do seem to not understand Parker’s tactics and game plan. Broja suits our system well.”
“I think Parker gets a tune from him,” another commented.
I’m excited about Broja coming in. I know there’s uncertainty amongst the fans right now but I believe Parker can unlock his potential.
I just hope it isn’t silly money we’ve spent.#twitterclarets

One supporter claimed: “If Parker can get Broja delivering anything like [Aleksandar] Mitrovic, we might have a chance. He definitely fills a big gap up front, but he has a lot to prove.”
“If he stays injury free – Be perfect for our counter attacking,” another said.
If Burnley are to stay in the top division, they will need to defend resiliently and hit opposition teams with real directness. While there are understandable question marks about Broja’s fitness, he showed as a youngster incredible pace and aggressiveness when leading the line, so perhaps he could be the right fit at Turf Moor.
A year ago, Italian giants Napoli shortlisted Broja as a transfer target. Even though a permanent move to Burnley highlights how the centre-forward’s career has stalled, it could be the perfect place to get back on track to fulfil his potential.

Armando Broja vs Marc Guiu in a relegation battle
Ahead of the new league season, Burnley and Sunderland are two teams most people would expect to be fighting against relegation, especially as newly-promoted clubs have struggled recently to stay up.
While Broja could be leading the line for Burnley, Sunderland have agreed to sign Chelsea’s Marc Guiu on loan. The 19-year-old centre-forward is expected to secure a move to the Stadium of Light to get a real crack at trying to secure regular Premier League minutes.
Broja has proven he’s got the quality to shine in the Premier League, but his best form to date came during the 2021/22 season during a loan with Southampton.
As for Guiu, the exciting teenager has it all to prove at senior level. We would argue he’s now got the higher ceiling than Broja.
