Potential three-team trade that would send 24 PPG guard to Boston

Tyler Herro could get traded to the Boston Celtics in this hypothetical three-team deal between Celtics, Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings.

Miami Heat had another average season, but Tyler Herro was shining once again.

Position: SG, PG

Age: 25

Height: 196 cm

Weight: 90 kg

Birth place: United States of America

Averaging 23.9 points per game last season, Herro showcased his immense talent once again getting his first call-up for the All-Star Game.

Tyler Herro stayed his whole career with the Miami Heat since they selected him as the 13th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, though he could maybe change scenery next summer.

Matt Moore of FanSided proposed a three-team deal that would send Tyler Herro to the Boston Celtics.

Celtics would send Sam Hauser to the Miami Heat and additional draft compensation, whilst Anfernee Simons would join the Sacramento Kings, who would let Demar DeRozan join Miami.

"Miami ducks the Tyler Herro extension to add DeRozan as a forward playmaker star, aiming for a full reset next season when he’s expiring or the year after. They pick up shooting with Hauser as kind of a fill-in for the shooters they had in 2023," Moore said.

"The Celtics take on Herro who gives them the best player in the trade. He’s an expiring contract, which is complicated. He plays the same position as Derrick White, which is complicated."

"He arguably plays the same position as Jaylen Brown, which is complicated. But it’s turning Jrue Holiday into Tyler Herro, which is pretty great, and Herro would absolutely roast in that system."
