Everton are eyeing a new winger before the transfer window closes and Kerem Akturkoglu has been linked with a move.
David Moyes will be looking to build on last season’s impressive displays in order to push for a top-half finish in the Premier League in the upcoming campaign.
Akturkoglu, 26, has emerged as a target after scoring 11 goals and providing as many assists in 30 league games last season for Benfica.

Speaking about Akturkoglu, Dr Brar told Goodison News: “He had no injury issues last season, which is ideal for any club looking to sign him.
“Even currently, he’s injury-free and I expect him to clear his medical without any issues.
“As he’s already playing the full 90 minutes, presumably after a positive pre-season, he should be ready to start games as soon as he joins.”

Everton must prioritise Akturkoglu transfer
Everton must prioritise signing Akturkoglu this summer to bolster their attacking creativity and goal-scoring output.
The 26-year-old Benfica winger has an impressive record, contributing 16 goals and 13 assists in 53 appearances last season in all competitions.
His versatility to play across the front line and proven ability against elite sides, like scoring twice against Manchester United in the Champions League, make him a game-changer.
With Everton’s wingers, like Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison, struggling last season, the Turkish attacker could transform their attack, complementing new striker Thierno Barry and addressing their creative drought.
