Germany goalkeeper Melina Loeck has signed a new deal with Brighton ahead of joining Hammarby on loan until January 2026.
The 25-year-old joined from Kristianstads in January 2024 and has since made 16 appearances in all competitions.
“Melina had consistent match exposure in the second half of last season,” head coach Dario Vidošić said. “She stepped up to the challenge in the WSL and played a key role in our record finish and we’re delighted that she is extending her stay with us.”
“This loan with Hammarby will provide her the opportunity for regular game time in a competitive environment. We will monitor her progress and wish her all the best for her time in Sweden.”
