West Ham United are reportedly in talks with Leicester City to sign Danish goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.
Henry Winter reports that the Hammers and the Foxes are "currently talking" about a potential deal for Hermansen, who impressed in the Premier League last season. The 25-year-old was a standout performer at the King Power despite his side suffering relegation, and remaining in the top-flight is a real possibility.
Danish outlet Bold reports that West Ham have already agreed on the framework of personal terms with the Danish shot-stopper, who has three years left on his contract. They suggest that the next step is for negotiations to take place between the two clubs to finalise a potential deal.

A new goalkeeper is on Graham Potter's agenda this summer, and the Irons have reportedly made a £6.9m bid for Botafogo's John Victor. But Hermansen is an alternative and could be less of a risk given he's already adapted to life in England.
The Dane joined Leicester from Brondby in the summer of 2023 for £5m, and he was part of Enzo Maresca's Foxes side that won promotion to the Premier League in 2024 with an EFL Championship title win. He kept 13 clean sheets in 44 games that season and continued to catch the eye between the sticks during his side's brief return to the top flight.

West Ham's rebuild is underway following the sale of Mohammed Kudus to Tottenham Hotspur earlier this summer. Kyle Walker-Peters arrived as a free agent after leaving Southampton, while young Scottish prospect Daniel Cummings joined in the same fashion after his Celtic contract expired.
The Hammers also swooped for left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf, whom they paid Slavia Prague £19m to bring to the London Stadium. They have also agreed a deal with veteran striker Callum Wilson, who is a free agent after leaving Newcastle United in June.
Potter also wants to strengthen between the sticks, where Alphonse Areola, 32, isn't getting any younger. Hermansen fits the bill, described by journalist Ryan Taylor as an "incredible" shot-stopper who could be a long-term answer for the West London outfit.
