Leeds United now have just one final pre-season game to go before the start of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
The Whites have recruited well, with seven new faces having already arrived at Elland Road this summer.
But fans will be hoping for more, especially given the competitive nature shown over the last few years, with the Whites already tipped to be instantly relegated back to the Championship before a ball has been kicked.
Daniel Farke knows he has quite the task on his hands, and will hope to see more of the same from his squad as many saw in West Yorkshire on Saturday.
With that in mind, LeedsLive has taken a look at the latest Leeds transfer news and speculation, as kick-off in the Premier League edges closer.
Galatasaray man in Leeds 'sights'
CaughtOffside claim Leeds are keeping a keen eye on former Norwich City man Gabriel Sara.
Sara, 26, left Carrow Road for Galatasaray last summer but is now said to be wanted by the Whites ahead of their return to Premier League football.
Aston Villa, Manchester City, Nottingham Forest and Everton are also touted as fellow interested clubs, with his value thought to be around €40m.
A capable midfield option, Sara is described as an 'advanced midfielder' with energy to commit frequently into both boxes.
LeedsLive says: "Sara would be a terrific addition to help Farke's midfield this season, but with huge clubs already showing interest in the 26-year-old, the Whites will have to act with haste and show the former Norwich man why their project trumps all."
Knock back in McAtee hopes
Despite it already being viewed as a tough deal to do, Leeds now look unlikely to sign Manchester City man James McAtee.
The England Under-21 international has seen interest arise from all over Europe this summer, and his name is one disclosed by Angus Kinnear last summer as an attempted signing, alongside Emi Buendia.
But as per Give Me Sport, Nottingham Forest saw their £25m offer kicked back last week, and that may have also ended Leeds' proposed interest too.
Ben Jacobs later added further insight into Man City’s asking price, claiming that a fee similar to Cole Palmer’s £42.5million exit to Chelsea will be required.
LeedsLive says: "You can't help but think what a terrific signing of intent McAtee would be, especially given the potential he could have in a few years. The England international could be destined for a £100m+ move in a few years, but for now, it seems his valuation is far too high for Leeds' summer budget."
