Fabrizio Romano provides clarity on Fermin Lopez situation amid Manchester United reports

There is not much time left for FC Barcelona before the end of the summer transfer window. With operations now being accelerated and the club looking at various avenues to generate income, things could escalate soon. However, exit rumours continue to spiral around the Catalan giants as well.

Various players have been linked to exits this summer, and one of them just so happens to be 22-year-old midfielder Fermin Lopez. Yesterday, he was linked to a move to English Premier League side Manchester United.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, there is nothing concrete between the player and the English side. Moreover, Barcelona have no intention of letting Fermin Lopez leave this summer unless he explicitly requests a transfer.

So far, that appears unlikely, as the player remains fully committed and focused on Barcelona. In any case, even if a club were to pursue Lopez, Fabrizio Romano has clarified that the financial package would need to be truly special and irresistible.

For now, Lopez seems more than content at Barcelona, and the club continues to place full trust in him. Recent reports have even suggested that Hansi Flick personally wants to keep the player and values his contributions to the team.
