There is not much time left for FC Barcelona before the end of the summer transfer window. With just under a month remaining, the Catalan club is accelerating various operations in an attempt to stabilize their financial situation.
While the focus has largely been on potential incomings and revenue generation, exit rumours around several players continue to gain traction.
One of those names is 22-year-old midfield talent Fermin Lopez, who has recently been linked with a surprise move to Manchester United. The English side is actively exploring options in the midfield market as part of a broader search that also includes reinforcements in the striker and goalkeeper departments.

However, according to the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano, there is currently no concrete development between Manchester United and Fermin Lopez.
He explained that a move for the midfielder is highly unlikely this summer, as Barcelona have no intention of letting him go.
The only scenario in which a transfer could become possible is if Lopez personally requests to leave, something that has not happened so far.
Romano also indicated that the player remains fully committed to Barcelona, and there have been no internal signs suggesting he is considering a departure.
Recent reports have even suggested that Hansi Flick personally wants to keep the player and values his contributions to the team.
With no desire from the player to leave and Barcelona unwilling to negotiate his sale, all signs point to Lopez staying at the club beyond the summer window.
