Leeds United have been preparing for next season in more ways than one as they bid to stay up in the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
On the pitch, the Peacocks have had a steady time of things in terms of results, most recently drawing 1-1 with Villarreal at Elland Road.
Off field, Daniel Farke’s side have been busy in the transfer window, strengthening their backline with the signatures of Gabriel Gudmundsson and Jaka Bijol.
Farke’s side have now gone a step extra towards ensuring that the Leeds players feel the full affects of the Elland Road crowd during matchday.

Leeds announce changes to Marching On Together
There are very few iconic anthems that relate to certain football clubs.

But Leeds United’s Marching On Together is one of those that supporters hear and can instantly relate to the Peacocks.
The Whites have now announced on the official club website that there will be changes to the music before games.
After winning promotion back to the top flight, Farke’s side now have to play the Premier League anthem as the players line up.
As a result, should the club continue its usual way of playing MOT, they would have to cut it 30 seconds in, in order to play the Premier League’s anthem.
Therefore, in order to accommodate the two iconic songs, Fanfare for the Common Man will be played, along with Strings for Yasmin as the players leave the tunnel and enter the pitch.
After the players are done shaking hands, MOT will then be played in full, without any interruptions, ahead of the match kicking off.
The new process is identical to the way that Premier League rivals Liverpool and Nottingham Forest use their club anthems, as pointed out Leeds in the announcement on the club website.
Leeds’ new way of doing things was rolled out for their friendly against Villarreal and is being used as a test run ahead of the Premier League campaign.
And given the reasons stated – the song having to be cut halfway through – it is a decision that makes perfect sense from Leeds chiefs.

Leeds are well prepared for the start of the season
Leeds are showing that they are well prepared for the Premier League.
Farke has continued to assess his side during preseason, and with the 2025/26 campaign around the corner, the Whites seem they now are close to having a top-flight squad.
The Peacocks have been linked with a move for Josh Brownhill in recent days, and should they sign the midfielder, attack would be the only worry for Farke.
