Mateo Joseph looks to be on his way out of Leeds United.
While so much focus has been on the incoming business at Elland Road, it has somewhat been forgotten just how important it will be to secure exits for those currently contracted to Leeds.
Both Patrick Bamford and Joseph look set to leave Leeds this summer, with the latter having handed in a transfer request.
However, the timing of the saga is quite ironic, and it serves as quite a reminder for the supporters.

Joseph could leave Leeds in August
On the face of it, Joseph leaving in August would not be unexpected, nor would the timing of it typically have any relevance, unless you happen to own the latest Leeds United calendar.

Daniel Farke has already made clear that the youngster is no longer in his plans for the Premier League and will be looking to seal his exit sooner rather than later.
Joseph is said to be preparing a move back to Spain, and his sale could generate the funds needed for the Whites to sign a enw striker ahead of the new campaign.

Farke will be getting frustrated
Leeds return to the Premier League in just over two weeks, and to enter the campaign without a new striker would be a disaster.
At the start of the window, Leeds had two clear priorities, and one of them has been addressed with the signing of Lucas Perri.
The hope will be that both Joseph and Bamford are out of the door soon, so that the Whites can accelerate their search for a new frontman this summer.
