With almost two weeks left for the 2025/2026 season to start, Jack Grealish’s future at Manchester City still remains undecided.
Manchester City decided to sell Grealish even before the FIFA Club World Cup and yet, he is still training with the first-team squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
The former Aston Villa winger will be hoping that sooner rather than later, his future is resolved.
With Grealish excluded from England’s Euro 2024 squad, he will be determined to cement his place in the Three Lions’ roster for the 2026 World Cup.

At 29 years of age, it is time for Jack Grealish to play regular football and reclaim his status as one of the best attackers in European football.
Everton are willing to sign Grealish and pay a substantial loan fee to secure his services but a move to the Toffees would represent a significant fall from grace for a player who has won three Premier League titles and a treble in his last four seasons.

Interestingly, The Observer have reported that during Oasis’ recent concert at Heaton Park, Grealish and Pep Guardiola held a brief chat which is believed to have been a warm interaction between both parties.
Such was the positive nature of their conversation that the silky technician has now been contemplating whether staying at Manchester City would be best for his career.

Considering Grealish has started just 14 games in all competitions last season, it would emerge as a surprise if he ended up staying at Pep Guardiola’s City side.

With Jeremy Doku showing signs of exploding next season based on his showings at the Club World Cup, a similar fate could beckon in the following campaign for the exit-linked forward.
However, Grealish fancies a move to Everton on a loan deal as well.
