With just under two weeks until the start of the Premier League season, Wolves face their next test against Girona with only one more pre-season friendly against Celta Vigo.
The most recent friendly Wolves played was against French side RC Lens, which saw Lens come out victorious in a 3-1 win.
It was Gonçalo Guedes that scored the only goal for Wolves last time out, but unfortunately for Wolves it wasn’t enough to keep them in the game as Lens increased their lead not long after the only Wolves goal.
Wolves announced on Friday that they have made their third summer signing in David Møller Wolfe.
The Norwegian won’t be meeting up with the squad in Spain, but is expected to join up with the squad before the last pre-season friendly at home against Celta Vigo.
Wolves’ second summer signing in Jhon Arias is expected to feature against Girona making his debut for Wolves
Girona have managed to get two wins under their belt in pre-season so far, finding themselves in good form ahead of the meeting against Wolves.
Playing five pre-season games, Girona have won two, drew one and have only lost one with their most recent outing being a 1-0 win over Deportivo Alaves.
Girona
Girona have brought in three players so far this transfer window, bringing in the likes of Thomas Lemar and Hugo Rincon both on loan.
Lemar and Rincon will be looking to make their mark on Girona and help them achieve more this season after last season Girona seemed to struggle, only finishing 16th.
Girona also brought in Joel Roca on a free transfer from CD Mirandes. The forward scored six goals and gathered three assists for his former club.
Wolves
Jose Sa featured in the first half of the game against RC Lens and is thought to start once again against Girona.
Jhon Arias will be available and expected to make his debut after Wolves announced him as a Wolves player just over a week ago.
The newest signing for Wolves, David Møller Wolfe, hasn’t travelled with the squad after only being announced as a Wolves player yesterday.
He is expected to join up with the squad by mid-week, ahead of their final test back at home against Celta Vigo.

Key Players
Girona - Joel Roca
Last season, the 20-year-old scored six goals and assisted three goals after starting 17 games in LaLiga2.
Roca will look to improve on his performances last season; averaging 1.14 shots on target per 90, 1.30 successful dribbles per 90 and 1.09 chances created per 90 shows that Roca could be a real asset for Girona in the game against Wolves.
He is able to create chances, link up with the players around him as well as score goals and therefore could be an issue for Wolves.
Wolves - Jhon Arias
After being welcomes to Wolves as their second summer signing, Jhon Arias finally gets the chance to showcase his abilities in what will be his debut for Wolves.
He’s spent four years at Fluminense playing 229 matches for the Brazilian club scoring 47 goals and contributing with 55 assists in his time for the club.
The Columbian played a key role in Fluminense’s Club World Cup success as they reached the semi-finals.
Now in a Wolves shirt, Arias will be wanting to hit the ground running.
Arias is a versatile and creative player who is more than comfortable of playing over the attacking line. He has proven that is he more than able to hold his own against some of Europe’s best players.
