Everton have always produced talented players from their academy and one teenager could be in line to make his debut soon.
David Moyes’ squad is pretty threadbare at the moment, but that has given some younger players a chance to impress in pre-season.
Justin Clarke really impressed against Accrington Stanley earlier in the summer, and so too has Harrison Armstrong.
Everton fans are keen to see Armstrong stay amid interest from the Championship, with a season-long loan still a possibility.
And, there has been a fresh report about another talented Everton teenager who’s really impressed in pre-season training in the US.

Everton teenager Isaac Heath really impressing in training
Isaac Heath was named Everton’s under-21 Player of the Season last term and has been rewarded with a place in Moyes’ pre-season squad.
Heath was outstanding against Accrington as he evidenced his terrific dribbling ability, which saw him win a penalty.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The 20-year-old is continuing to impress, and Liverpool Echo reporter Chris Beesley admitted that he ‘captured the eye’ during the open training session in the US.
“Everton are never going to give away any footballing ‘state secrets’ when it comes to tactics on these occasions when the public are let in but several of their players looked particularly sharp, with young Isaac Heath capturing the eye in particular with some clinical finishing while Adam Aznou, the club’s latest signing, took part having now joined up with his new team-mates,” Beesley wrote.
Heath could be in line to make his competitive debut this month
Heath is yet to make his Everton debut in a competitive fixture, but he’s certainly doing all the right things to get the nod.
Plus, with Moyes’ squad lacking real quality out wide, it gives the 2004-born a great chance of getting minutes off the bench in the Premier League.
He may be handed an appearance against Manchester United this evening in the final pre-season fixture in America.
16-year-old winger Clarke, who joined from Wimbledon last year, could also get an opportunity from the substitutes bench.
He is perhaps a little further behind in his development than Heath, having only made one appearance for the under-21s.
