Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has reiterated that Mateo Joseph and Patrick Bamford are not part of his plans ahead of the new Premier League season.
Joseph, 21, who has three years left on his contract, has informed the club of his desire to leave Elland Road this summer. Girona and Real Betis have expressed an interested in signing the Spanish Under 21 international. Joseph scored three times in 41 appearances last season.
Bamford, meanwhile, scored for the club's Under 21s against Norwegian side Lyn 1896 on Friday, but Farke has told the ex-Middlesbrough forward that he is not needed.
When asked about Joseph and Bamford following Leeds' 1-1 draw against Villarreal on Saturday, Farke said: "Neither of them is in my plans right now [but I] cannot predict a move before the window closes.
"Not too much about numbers. Many strikers do not help you because you only play with one. It's clear, in all offensive roles, we need reinforcements."
Joseph may not have the most prolific record since the start of his senior career, having netted just six times in 73 first-team matches for Leeds, but there is no doubt he has a great deal of potential. The Whites are reported to have slapped a £8.6 million price tag on Joseph's head - a fee that could put off potential suitors.
"No, we spoke about the situation before the training camp [in Germany] about his decision and he didn't feel ready to train with us and to travel to Stockholm," Farke said on Joseph.

"He wasn't ready to play the training games and we can't then afford him in the group, which is excited and focused and concentrated on preparing for Premier League level. We can't afford someone in the group who is perhaps distracted or not fully committed. At the moment, he is not in my plans."
Lukas Nmecha started as Leeds' No.9 against Villarreal and the 26-year-old had two clear-cut opportunities in the first half. However, he was unable to finish either of them.
Meanwhile, Joel Piroe came on at half-time and scored Leeds' equaliser after Etta Eyong had put Villarreal ahead. It was a poacher's finish from the Dutchman, who was in the right place at the right time to prod home from close range. Piroe now has four goals in four matches during pre-season.
Speaking after scoring against Villarreal, Piroe said: "It feels really nice.
"Something that makes me happy and of course it would have been a little bit better if we had won the game as well, but at the same time I think it was a good game to get ready as well. You feel that it is getting closer, that everyone is getting sharper and you really feel that the team as a whole has stepped up a bit as well.
"I have said it before as well, you know, in the Premier League at big clubs or wherever you are, you always face competition. So, if it is a new signing or one from the academy who comes up, there will always be a battle for the place and you have just got to influence what you can influence yourself.
"For me, it means playing well, keep scoring goals and that is how I try and want to earn or keep my spot. Everyone is fighting for their spot."
