Leeds United are in the market for more players as Daniel Farke pushed the club to bring in attacking additions before the end of the transfer window on September 1st. The Whites want to revamp their forward line in the next four weeks to improve their chances of survival in their first season back in the Premier League.
The Yorkshire giants have spent more than £75m on new players, but five of their seven additions have been defenders and midfielders, and Lucas Perry is a goalkeeper who has been brought in to replace Illan Meslier. Lukas Nmecha is the only forward who has joined the club this summer, and he arrived early in the transfer window on a free transfer.

Farke has made it clear that he needs a striker and winger, and the club are also working on a deal to sign an attacking midfielder with a concrete offer sent to Leicester City ace Bilal El Khannouss through his representatives.
Leeds’ failed pursuit of Igor Paixao showed that they want to add a winger to their squad who can play on the left flank, and a market opportunity could open up to sign a Premier League wide man towards the end of the transfer window.

Thomas Frank’s words show Leeds United target Manor Solomon has no future at Tottenham
Manor Solomon spent last season on loan at Leeds and played a vital role in getting them promoted to the Premier League.
The Whites have been keen to take him to Elland Road, but the Israeli international indicated early in the window that he wants to fight for a place in the Spurs team.
Tottenham were also keen to have a look at him during pre-season, but it seems Spurs boss Thomas Frank has made up his mind.
Talking about the imminent exit of Spurs star Heung-Min Son, the Tottenham manager named a few players who are prepared to step up and fill the South Korean’s shoes in the wide areas.
He even indicated the potential of someone from the academy stepping up, but never mentioned Solomon as a potential option for next season.
“First and foremost, when a great player is leaving a team, other players have a chance to shine”, Frank was quoted as saying by TEAMTalk.
“Brennan Johnson is a player who could play on the left. Also, I think that Wilson Odobert did well against Arsenal and can play on the left, and also, Mathys Tel is a flexible player.
“I think we have some young, promising players that hopefully can step up and take over from Sonny in the future.”
Tottenham will end up selling Solomon this summer
Solomon doesn’t seem to be part of Frank’s plans at Tottenham, and he is unlikely to be at Spurs after the window closes on September 1st.
Daniel Farke has already mentioned that the club have not replaced the Israeli from last season’s team, and Leeds remain keen to sign him.
Tottenham want a fee in the region of £20m, but are expected to compromise and sell for a lesser fee towards the end of the transfer window.
Farke likes him, and the winger would welcome a return to Elland Road once it becomes clear to him that he doesn’t have a future at Tottenham.
