Manchester United could look to land a top young talent into their ranks ahead of the end of the transfer window, according to reports - with Swedish youngster Kevin Filling being in their sights ahead of a potential move to Old Trafford, after impressing for AIK in the Allsvenskan at the age of just 16.
United have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo as Ruben Amorim aims to bolster his striking ranks, with United having been poor in front of goal last season. A striker remains in their sights, but for now, they are looking to also improve their youth ranks, and a move for Filling could be in the offing after an impressive burst onto the scene in his homeland.

The report by Swedish outlet Expressen (via Fotboll Direkt) states that United are interested in the young star after his electric start to professional football.
Filling has attracted interest from the Red Devils after featuring for AIK against Gothenburg on his debut, scoring against the mid-table side back in late June having only turned 16 back in November.
The 2008-born talent only joined AIK back in 2023 as a 14-year-old from Vasteras, and alongside a loan spell at third-tier outfit Enkopings, he's proven to be a top talent with goals scored at all levels.
Although he's suffered from injuries, Filling's burst onto the scene has tempted clubs to his signing and United are a side who are keen to bring him to the Premier League, despite having three years on his contract alongside Tottenham Hotspur also being interested, in a Premier League battle.
The Red Devils have made 'concrete enquiries' for his signature, with United thought to be willing to sign Filling before loaning him to feeder club Lausanne - though AIK have no plans to sell their young prodigy at present, giving him playing time when recovering from injury.
INEOS' tenure at United has seen the club sign various youth talents with a view to the future. Former Arsenal stars Chido Obi-Martin and Ayden Heaven have been joined by Diego Leon, Harry Amass and Sekou Kone, signifying just a short number of players who have been tipped to become regular first-team stars in the future under Amorim in a bid to secure their long-term future.
