Marcus Rashford has set himself a high goal on loan at Barcelona for the upcoming season.
Manchester United and Marcus Rashford went their separate ways this offseason, with the forward sent on loan to Barcelona.
The loan deal includes a ‘buy option’, with Rashford and United both requiring a fresh start.
Speaking in an interview with Spanish outlet 20 Minutos, Rashford said his priority was not to concern himself with what may happen in 2026 and beyond, commenting: “I want to enjoy the moment and give everything for the team.”

Marcus Rashford aiming to win Champions League
Marcus Rashford is already with the Barcelona squad for pre-season, where he played against FC Seoul and former United teammate Jesse Lingard.
Rashford provided an assist in a 7-3 win, his second appearance, and he is high in confidence as he looks forward to his fresh start.
The United loanee is setting his sights high, aiming to win the Champions League with Barcelona next season.
Rashford explained: “That’s everyone’s dream. Last year was a very good season, but we’ll try to improve on it by winning the Champions League.”

Barcelona were eliminated in the Champions League semi-finals last season, losing 7-6 on aggregate to Inter Milan.
Rashford’s comments show how optimistic he is now feeling at Barcelona, finding the fresh challenge and motivation at Barcelona that he was looking for.
Marcus Rashford’s Champions League record
Marcus Rashford has not played in the Champions League since Manchester United were eliminated at the group stages in 2023/24.
The last knockout game he played was United’s defeat to Atletico Madrid in the last 16 in 2022/23.
Rashford and United have not won a Champions League knockout tie since the memorable win over Paris Saint-Germain in 2019. United were knocked out in the next round by Barcelona.
In his career, Rashford has played 37 Champions League games, scoring 12 goals. These included four appearances on loan for Aston Villa last season, in which he failed to score.
