Manchester United chief executive Omar Berrada previously played down the possibility of Bruno Fernandes leaving the club in this summer's transfer window.
Reports emerged over the weekend once again linking the United captain with a move to Saudi Arabia.
After being the subject of interest from Al-Hilal in May, Al-Nassr have become the latest Saudi club to be credited with interest in the Portuguese international.
According to a report by Sky Sports, Al-Nassr made contact through intermediaries, but failed with their efforts to try and extract Fernandes from Old Trafford.
Fernandes rejected the opportunity to join Al-Hilal earlier this summer as he did not want to move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career.
He has been nothing short of outstanding for United during his five-and-a-half-year stay at the club and has a big role to play in head coach Ruben Amorim's plans.
Although every player has a price, United have no plans to sell Fernandes ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline, nor do they intend on letting go of anyone else that risks weakening the team.
Addressing United's plans for the summer back in March, Berrada said: "So just because we'll have more revenues to invest if we're in the Champions League, it doesn't mean we're going to go and over-invest. We need to be cautious and, and we need to try to make as many good decisions as we can in recruitment.
"And also when it comes to sales, we will do it purely on the basis of whether it helps improve the team or not, not for financial reasons."

Bruno Fernandes is vitally important to Manchester United and Ruben Amorim.
With that last sentence in mind, had Al-Nassr submitted a formal offer for Fernandes, the chances are that regardless of its worth, it would have immediately been dismissed.
Fernandes is United's best player and has been their most consistent performer since he joined the club in January 2020.
He was a ray of light in a forgettable season for the Reds last term, regularly contributing goals and assists in both the Premier League and the Europa League.
