Manchester United won the Premier League Summer Series in an unbeaten sweep of the pre-season tournament after a 2-2 draw with Everton on Sunday night - with strikes from Mason Mount and Bruno Fernandes being cancelled out by Iliman Ndiaye and a fortuitous own goal from Ayden Heaven in Atlanta, Georgia.
It was the Portuguese magician who put the Red Devils into the lead from the spot; a clumsy tackle from James Tarkowski saw Amad Diallo hit the deck, and Fernandes calmly sent Jordan Pickford the wrong way. Everton weren't without surprises, and Beto gave them a warning with an offside goal - but Iliman Ndiaye struck with a deft volley before half-time to level the game.
United came out as the better side in the second-half, and despite some Everton pressure, quality told as Mount came off the bench to wrap a shot into the far corner as he looks to get back to his best under Ruben Amorim - but an incredibly bizarre equaliser when Dwight McNeil's stab at goal rolled beyond United stopper Altay Bayindir saw the Toffees draw level. Here, GIVEMESPORTtakes you through how each player rated in the USA.

Man Utd Player Ratings
ruben amorim
Altay Bayindir - 6
A generally solid performance from the Turkish backup but he did flap at a few crosses. A solid backup, but doubtful he will ever sustain that No.1 spot.
Diogo Dalot - 6
Likely to be rotated with Noussair Mazraoui this season and although Dalot didn't quite influence the game on the right-hand side, he got into some critical positions to help United in transition when he could.
Matthijs de Ligt - 6
More minutes in the tank for the Dutchman as he aims to get through the entire pre-season unscathed. Came up against Beto who caused him problems but he generally managed it well.
Leny Yoro - 7
Almost got robbed by Iroegbunam in the first half, but he recovered well, Some tricky feet in the final third almost set up a few chances. Looks a real asset for the coming years.
Luke Shaw - 6
Needed to play well after his comments in mid-week, and the returning star did just that. Evident talent on the left-side of defence, and if he can stay fit, he'll be an asset for Amorim. It's a huge question, though.
Manuel Ugarte - 4
Not his finest night. The Uruguayan gave the ball away under pressure quite often as Everton's press-heavy midfield set on him like a pack of wolves, and a couple of rash challenges meant it was a scrappy evening for him.
Kobbie Mainoo - 5
Tidy yet uninspiring. The England international felt quite rushed at times, even with the security of an extra midfielder to help him out. Didn't do anything wrong as such, but not a lot came off for him in a largely forgettable cameo.
Bryan Mbeumo - 5
Struggled to get himself on the ball early on, with Amad taking the forefront in terms of the right-hand side. His deliveries weren't great and barring a free-kick in the first half, he didn't threaten much before being hooked at the break. Fans will be hoping for more once the campaign begins.
Bruno Fernandes - 7
Exquisite, pinpoint through ball within the first five minutes almost gave United the lead. His penalty for the opener was as vintage as ever, and again showed signs that he, once again, will be key to Amorim's success in the coming 12 months. Kicked out at Ndiaye in the lead up to Everton's second equaliser.
Amad Diallo - 8
Took on the award for the most dangerous attacker of the night, in full force. Constantly jinking and jiving, he gave Mykolenko a torrid time and won a penalty after being fouled by Tarkowski. Unfortunate for the own goal.
Matheus Cunha - 6
Almost scored inside the first five minutes but couldn't quite stab his effort past Pickford. Looked dangerous but faded as the game went on.
Patrick Dorgu - SUB - 5
Brought on for physicality in the second half. Should have squared the ball to an apoplectic Rasmus Hojlund late on.
Mason Mount - SUB - 7
Influenced the game as soon as he came on with a superb turn and finish, curling the ball right beyond Pickford and around Jake O'Brien to put the Red Devils back in front with 20 minutes to go.
Harry Maguire - SUB - 5
Didn't have much to do in his 20 minutes on the pitch.
Ayden Heaven - SUB - 5
Wrong place at the wrong time as Diallo's clearance onto his boot somehow rolled past Bayindir in goal to level the game.
Everton Player Ratings
Everton boss David Moyes watching on from the touchline
Jordan Pickford - 6
Had no chance with the penalty and came under some real pressure when United got clicking into gear. Rest assured he'll be in Everton's goal for the foreseeable future.
Jake O'Brien - 6
Really should have put Everton ahead with a rebound from a free-kick on six minutes. Had the whole goal to aim for, and could only hit the post with nobody around him. Nonetheless, a strong defensive performance from the Irishman.
Michael Keane - 6
New one-year deal means he'll spend another year on Merseyside, and he did well at times. Sometimes just half a yard off the pace, but he's a threat going forward in Moyes' physical system.
James Tarkowski - 5
A foolish, despairing tackle on Amad saw him concede the penalty for the opener. Admittedly, he was without his partner in crime in Jarrad Branthwaite, but he's prone to a late block - this one didn't pay off.
Vitaliy Mykolenko - 6
Was always going to find it tough against Amad and Mbeumo running down the right. The Ivorian in particular gave him a tough gig and it simply wasn't his night in Georgia from a defensive perspective. Good tackle to set up the first equaliser, however.
James Garner - 6
Played an unusually deeper role, aiming to curtail the tempo and start moves from deep. Some good corner deliveries were on the money and he fared well on the ball, but a lot of United attacks came through the centre, where he was targeted.
Tim Iroegbunam - 7
Almost fashioned a chance for himself early on with some good physical work down the left-hand side, but failed to take advantage of his successful duel with Leny Yoro. The youngster has started to earn his place in the side and with the lack of a central midfield signing, he'll play a bigger role this season.
Idrissa Gana Gueye - 8
Played slightly further forward than his usual sitting role. The Senegalese icon had a great game by his own standards, and a superb ball into Ndiaye for the equaliser showed that he has another side to his game.
Carlos Alcaraz - 7
Tenacious performance from the Argentine saw him constantly causing chaos on the right-hand flank. Didn't quite have that end product but Beto robbed him of a supposed strike to make it 2-1. It will be interesting to see if he can keep that first-team spot out wide.
Iliman Ndiaye - 9 (Man of the Match)
Iliman Ndiaye
Easily Everton's most exciting prospect. Some superb infield runs caused United problems in defence, and a great finish to equalise proved that in abundance. Silky feet, a daring nature and actual flair means he's by far Everton's best asset going forward and he even had a role in the second, despite Fernandes kicking him off the ball and starting a brawl for which he was booked.
Beto - 6
Strayed just offside as he coolly rounded Bayindir for the 'opener'. Superb technique, and so quick for his size - that's something that the Toffees must exploit in the Premier League. Clumsy at times but he's a real handful for defenders.
Dwight McNeil - SUB - 6
Played on the right, with Ndiaye continuing his development on the left. A great Premier League stalwart already at 25 and his presence in the area was crucial for the equaliser.
Adam Aznou - SUB - 5
A solid debut from the Bayern Munich signing - he could get more minutes heading into the first XI of the campaign.
Thierno Barry - SUB - 4
A quite bizarre appearance. Went down theatrically twice, didn't do anything up front and was nowhere near the nuisance for United that Beto was. Moyes will want more going forward.
Tyler Onyango - SUB - 6
A rare outing for the youngster, who hasn't played for the Toffees in a professional capacity since 2022. Did well in a right-back capacity and apart from Dorgu's chance, didn't let up much. Could be a rare option going into this season.
