The design, revealed by Footy Headlines, shows a navy blue shirt with a powerful detail stitched into the fabric: the late Juanito’s iconic quote, “90 minuti en el Bernabéu son molto longo” (“90 minutes in the Bernabéu are very long”).
Juanito famously uttered those words after a 2–0 loss to Inter Milan in the 1985 UEFA Cup semifinal first leg at the San Siro. His message was clear: Real Madrid would be a different beast at home. Days later, the team proved him right with a dramatic 3–0 win at the Bernabéu, overturning the deficit and going on to win the tournament. Since then, his words have become a rallying cry for Madridistas, symbolizing the club’s refusal to accept defeat.
The shirt, which strongly resembles the fan-favorite 2013–14 away kit, now features a patch that forever links it to one of the most legendary moments in club lore.
