Rodrygo has been on the radar of Tottenham as the club are also showing interest in the Brazilian forward, alongside Liverpool.
Many reports claimed that the Reds are now looking at Real Madrid’s Rodrygo as a possible replacement for the Colombian. Rodrygo also might want a move away from Madrid this summer.
The Brazilian forward is reportedly unhappy with his game time at the club. New manager Xabi Alonso didn’t feature him in six consecutive matches, including the FIFA Club World Cup, and he might now be eyeing a summer exit from Madrid.
Previously, Real Madrid reportedly set an asking price for Rodrygo close to €100m. That price tag might have cooled Liverpool’s interest. However, according to reports by Diario AS, Madrid are now willing to accept offers below €90m for the Brazilian.

Why Tottenham are interested in Rodrygo
After Son Heung-min decided to leave the club this summer, Tottenham might be exploring options to replace the 33-year-old forward.
As per Diario AS, Spurs are now looking at the possibility of bringing Rodrygo in after Son’s departure. The club may have identified Rodrygo as a key target. The player reportedly wants a salary of £8.67M a year.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian might still be waiting for Liverpool to make their move, as the reports suggest.
However, Arne Slot was asked about replacing Luis Diaz a few days ago. He said: “You always need to replace them with quality. Sometimes quality can be in different positions.”
He also added: “We have more than a few players who can play in a number of positions. At this moment in time, we still have Gakpo, Rio is showing very good signs, and I think Wirtz can play from the left side as well.”
