Arsenal are exploring a potential summer move for Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez, journalist Sebastien Vidal has claimed.
The Gunners have reportedly made an enquiry regarding the 22-year-old Spain international and are among several Premier League clubs keeping tabs on his situation.
While Barcelona would ideally like to keep the midfielder, their difficult financial situation may force the Catalans into a sale if an offer arrives before the transfer deadline.
Chelsea are also believed to have made an enquiry for Fermin, while Man United are seriously contemplating an offer to bring the La Masia graduate to England.

Fermin Lopez for Barcelona
Vidal, writing on X, has revealed that Arsenal have made an enquiry for Fermin and are attentive to his uncertain situation at the Nou Camp:
Fermin, who made his Barcelona first-team debut in August 2023, has been an important piece of the Catalans’ midfield since, amassing 88 appearances across his first two seasons.
The ‘spectacular’ 22-year-old, who reportedly has a €500m (£437m) release clause, was rewarded with a contract extension last year, keeping him at the club until June 2029.
Arsenal have rebuilt their midfield options significantly this summer, welcoming Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard to replace Jorginho and Thomas Partey.
The Gunners have splashed close to £200m on new arrivals so far, with former Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres the latest signing.
