Josh Brownhill has been linked with a move to Leeds United after confirming his Burnley exit.
Leeds will mark their return to the Premier League with a clash against Everton in under two weeks, and there is still a lot of change to be made between now and then.
The Whites need several new additions, though mainly in the attacking areas, after a series of failed moves elsewhere.
However, Brownhill is the latest to be linked with a move to Elland Road, and he could be set for a massive pay rise, with several other clubs having expressed an interest.

Brownhill offered huge contract after Burnley exit
Leeds have already bolstered their midfield with the signings of Sean Longstaff and Anton Stach, and may be looking to add to it further with the arrival of Brownhill.

The Englishman has a wealth of experience, and while being linked with a move to the Whites, he has been offered a three-year deal at Toronto FC, worth £15.6million.

Brownhill’s Burnley stats
It would see the midfielder earn around £100,000 per week which, as per Capology, would make him Leeds’ highest earner if that offer is matches, though not by much.
Jack Harrison is believed to be the current highest earner, with a weekly wage of £90,000, though the expectation is that he will be moved on this summer.

Would Brownhill be a good addition for Leeds?
Based on his experience and ability, Brownhill would be a smart addition for the Whites as they prepare for life back in the Premier League.
However, if it would require upwards of £100,000 per week to sign him, there would certainly be better uses of the money available at Elland Road.
It would seem strange for Brownhill to swap Burnley for Leeds at this stage in his career, and to sign a long contract on a high wage abroad may be the better option.
