Manchester United are showing strong interest in a summer move for Barcelona midfielder Fermin Lopez, according to Spanish journalist David Bernabeu.
The Red Devils are reportedly willing to splash out in excess of €70m (£61m) to secure the Spain international and are aware of his uncertain situation at the Nou Camp.
While Fermin himself has shown no signs of wanting to leave, Barcelona could be inclined to part ways with the 22-year-old Spain international to ease their difficult financial situation.
Fermin’s departure for around £61m would be one of the biggest sales in the Catalans’ history and would help solve financial issues for the time being, allowing them to complete contract renewals and make further signings.

The Red Devils are believed to have raised the idea of signing Fermin during meetings with Barcelona to finalise Marcus Rashford’s move to the Nou Camp, but are aware that a deal for the 'absolutely unbelievable' Spain international may be difficult to complete.
