Agreement ‘practically finalised’ for Wolves exit – Player to arrive shortly for medical

Last week saw several claims from Portugal and Spain discuss Real Sociedad’s desire to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers Gonçalo Guedes this summer.

Two days ago, Estadio Deportivo reported the La Liga side haven’t made an offer yet to Wolves.

The Spanish club have already made quick advances to wrap up the operation for the Wolves man.

That’s according to Monday’s edition of Marca, and they report La Real have ‘practically finalised an agreement’ with Wolves and the 28-year-old.

They add the former Valencia man will arrive shortly to carry out medical tests before completing a move to his new club.

Real Sociedad manager Sergio Francisco will resume training on Tuesday and Marca says he wants Guedes to be part of it. This means the coach is expecting his team to complete the operation in the next few hours.

Noticias de Gipuzkoa also reports Real Sociedad have reached an agreement with Wolves for a fee close to €10m. They have also finalised personal terms with the winger.

According to the report, the transfer may even be made official in the ‘next few hours’. This indicates Guedes should undergo medical tests with La Real shortly.

El Diario Vasco also state Real Sociedad and Wolves have reached an agreement for the attacker. He needs to undergo medical tests in the ‘coming hours’ to seal a move.

They aren’t aware of the fee Real Sociedad are paying Wolves but report it’s less than his current valuation of €11m.
