Man United ready to pay huge wages sign Fermin Lopez from La Liga giants Barcelona. Reportedly, he has rejected several PL clubs already.

Manchester Utd are ramping up efforts to sign **Barcelona**’s young midfielder Fermin Lopez in the upcoming transfer window.
The youngster has shown plenty of promise in La Liga. He has great elegant touch and nice combination play. He has established himself as a highly talented target. Man Utd is willing to double his current salary in hopes to lure him to Old Trafford, as per Sport.
So far, Lopez has rejected approaches from **Chelsea**and Arsenal. But, it seems they want him after ringing about. **Liverpool**are also keeping tabs, but United’s big wage offer is likely to make them front-runners.
Meanwhile, Barca have no plans to push him out. However, Red Devils hope that their offer and long-term project can convince the youngster to take the leap to England.

Why Red Devils want him so badly
Lopez’s ability to play centrally and out wide fits United’s current rebuilding strategy under head coach Ruben Amorim. The club have certainly lacked creativity in the final third, and Lopez can likely provide that. The club have struggled for goals when it counted last season. That said, someone like Fermin would add some creativity into the attack.
However, there is one big issue to overcome. The midfielder has shown absolutely no interest in leaving the Camp Nou. Barcelona believe he is a future star so they will likely resist. In addition, United’s lack of European football next season may affect their chances to sign the Spaniard as well.
That said, the Red Devils are still doing their best to try. If they succeed, it would be a great move during this summer transfer market.
