[Albion](https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/albion/) have signed Real Madrid and former Spain under-19s striker Carla Camacho for their WSL squad.
The 20-year-old played seven LigaF games last season after progressing through the Madrid ranks.
Albion have seen forwards Nikita Parris, Michelle Agyemang and Pauline Bremer leave the squad since last season.
Dario Vidosic is looking forward to seeing Camacho progress but says she will be given time to settle.
The Albion head coach said: “We’re pleased to have Carla with us. She has a good pedigree at Real Madrid and is looking forward to experiencing a new challenge in the WSL.
“She will need time to settle in but we’re looking forward to watching her progress and develop with us.”
Camacho won the Golden Boot at the 2022 UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship.
She was part of the squad that won the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and went on to win the UEFA Women’s Under-19 Championship.
Her senior league debut for Madrid came as a late substitute against Eibar when she was only 16 and was seen as one of the brightest young talents in Spanish women’s football.
She joins the Seagulls as a free agent.
