Leeds United are still in need of at least three more players as the end of the transfer window is less than a month away.
Daniel Farke will have seen positive signs from pre-season, but will know Leeds are far from the finished article.
After the draw with Villarreal, Leeds fans are impressed with Brenden Aaronson, as the hierarchy might second-guess bringing in a new number ten now.
Of course, the American must continue this form going into the Premier League, so it’s whether the 49ers take this risk or not.
Well, the Whites midfielder has just received some good news, as his home country’s league might be doing him a favour.

Josh Brownhill has £100k-a-week offer from Toronto FC despite wanting Leeds United
Someone who could emerge as a possible signing for the Peacocks is former Burnley star Josh Brownhill.
The 29-year-old opted not to return to the Clarets in search of a new challenge, and Brownhill wants a move to Leeds.
Despite the 18-goal midfielder wanting this, GIVEMESPORT have reported that Toronto FC are looking to land the Englishman, with a £100k-a-week offer on the table.
MORE LEEDS UNITED STORIES
The Whites haven’t actually confirmed Brownhill as a target, but he could still be used as a solid option after his success in the Championship last season.
However, despite Leeds admiring Brownhill previously, this might not be the way forward for the 49ers or the player himself.

With another midfield signing potentially on the cards, the Whites hierarchy should look elsewhere.
Although the former Burnley player’s addition would be welcome, having five other options who can play in Farke’s possible three in the middle doesn’t seem too appealing.
Brownhill was a leading player for the Clarets, so to drop his status would be a hard ask, and the £100k proposal might be too good to turn down.
Even though Leeds have shown past interest, it would be a risk for the 49ers to take his wages on, and with Anton Stach and Sean Longstaff in the frame, Farke might already have his ideal midfield set-up.

How Daniel Farke could line up his Leeds United midfield
There has been a long-standing interest, with even Jesse Marsch wanting Brownhill, but the 29-year-old would be wise to accept Toronto’s offer.
