Report reveals how Barcelona plan to finalise player registrations in the coming days

There is perhaps no greater priority for FC Barcelona right now than ensuring player registrations. This was a significant concern last season, and the club wants to avoid any such complications. Fortunately, things seem to be progressing well for Barcelona.

Currently, there are five main registrations that the club has to worry about. The new summer arrivals, Marcus Rashford, Joan Garcia, and Roony Bardghji are included among those five players. Other than that, both Wojciech Szczesny and Gerard Martin will need to be registered as well.

At the moment, the latest update from Mundo Deportivo suggests that Barcelona hopes to have all these players registered within the next 4-5 days. However, the key to these registrations lies in the audit report for the 2024-25 financial year.

The club simply needs that audit report to validate the €100 million in revenue from the VIP seating to be in a spot where those registrations become accessible for the club. Instead of relying on other temporary or extreme measures, the club believes that internal financial management will help sort things out.

While the option of using Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s surgery and subsequent recovery is also there, it is considered a bit more risky and temporary. Moreover, the club also does not intend to rely on player exits to address this issue and wants to find a more sustainable solution.
