Ruben Amorim has now made his position perfectly clear on what one of his key Manchester United players said after the Everton match on Sunday evening.
The 40-year-old Manchester United manager oversaw the Red Devils being crowned the Premier League Summer Series winners after their tour of the United States.
The Red Devils defeated West Ham 2-1 at the MetLife Stadium last month before United comfortably thumped Bournemouth 4-1 at the Soldier Field in Chicago.

United clashed with Everton at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and the Red Devils and the Toffees left Georgia after a 2-2 scoreline on the board on Sunday.
Bruno Fernandes fired United into the lead against Everton from the spot-kick before Iliman Ndiaye netted an important equaliser for the Toffees before half-time.
United took the lead over Everton in the second half after Bruno Fernandes set up Mason Mount, who curled a sensational effort past Jordan Pickford in Atlanta.

Bruno Fernandes was critical about United’s performance after the match against Everton and the United captain suggested that the Red Devils “were a little bit lazy.”
Speaking after the match, United manager Ruben Amorim insisted that there was a hidden meaning behind what the 30-year-old midfielder implied with his comments.

“I think I’m happy for the players to have that feeling,” he said, as per the Manchester Evening News.
“It’s saying that they understand the situation. So, it’s a good feeling. So, tomorrow we are going to travel, one day off and we return to Carrington to work.
“Understanding that in this club, everything is ups and downs. We understand that, but I prefer that feeling than the other side.”

Fernandes didn’t shy away from speaking his mind on the Amorim project at Old Trafford and the United midfielder was disappointed with the result on Sunday.
“It’s been important for developing how we want to play and getting the new players involved too,” he told NBC Sports, as per The Guardian.
"A lot of people have suffered… it's time for the players to repay the fans' trust" 🤝

Fernandes added: “We didn’t want to finish in this way. Our performance wasn’t the best and we were a little bit lazy today.
“We want to avoid that because with laziness, you can pay at any moment.”
United will be back in action on Saturday and the Red Devils will face Serie A outfit Fiorentina at Old Trafford, with kick-off for the match slated for 12:45pm UK time.
