The Seagulls defender has been the target of stinging criticism and insults from Colombia fans on social media after her part in the Copa America Femenina final against Brazil in Quito.
She conceded a needless penalty in first-half stoppage time with her team 1-0 up.
Carabali escaped with a yellow card for her charge on Gio Garbelini away from the ball.
But Brazil levelled from the spot at the end of a half which had been dominated by Colombia.
Pero cómo sos de irresponsable Carabali. Estás jugando un título y te pones a hacer esta infantilada?

A thrilling 120-minute contest ended in a 4-4 draw before five players, including Brazil legend Marta, failed to score in the shoot-out.
Carabali was the last of them, as her shot was saved, leading to Brazil celebrations as they won 5-4 on penalties.

The 28-year-old was the main target of Colombian anger, mainly due to the incident with Garbelini.
She had been outstanding throughout the tournament and scored in the 8-0 win over Bolivia.
Albion had sent their best wishes to the defender ahead of the final.
Head coach Dario Vidosic told her before the final: "We can't wait to watch and we are all with you. Vamos!"
Carabali has previously bounced back from personal tragedy – the murder of her brother in Cali two years ago – and injury setbacks.
She has impressed with Albion as a strong defender with a decent touch on the ball and appears to be a popular character around the squad.
Carabali has been joined in the Seagulls squad by her compatriot Manuela Vanegas, a left-back, who signed this summer.
