United’s Alejandro Garnacho to join Premier League rivals

Alejandro Garnacho may be on his way to make a Premier League switch. Reportedly, Chelsea look to snap up the young Argentine winger.

Garnacho eyeing a Premier League switch

As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, links between Garnacho and Chelsea have now been made.

The winger seems to be excited about the project at Stamford Bridge. He has evidently put the Blues as his number one priority. However, the official transfer talks are yet to take place between the two clubs. But, Manchester United will likely ask for a big transfer fee.

Regardless, Garnacho’s future at Utd as been in the air since the summer started. This comes after new head coach Ruben Amorim has publicly stated that he does not see the player as part of his plan. Amorim after Utd’s Europa League final loss to Tottenham, turned his back on Garnacho. The boss is said to have been disappointed with the player’s performances. So, that will lead him to sell the player this summer.

Transfer clock ticks as both clubs make moves

Garnacho is on a long list of players United are not against cashing in on. The club is looking to raise funds for signings. Man Utd have already signed Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. They are likely to add more players to their squad in midfield and the forward line.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are serious in their pursuit of Garnacho. Although, their priority at present is getting some players out the door and making a deal for Xavi Simons. Nevertheless, their interest is nowhere near fading at present. However, no official offer has been submitted yet. But, the Blues’ effort points to a likely bid later in the window.

Personal terms are not seen as a problem, with the player seemingly eager to start a new chapter in London. With the transfer window heating up, Garnacho’s future could take a major turn in the coming weeks.
