Everton have submitted an official bid to sign Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Toffees are short of options in the middle of the park heading into the 2025/2026 season after Abdoulaye Doucoure left the club following the expiration of his contract. Orel Mangala also departed after his loan spell ended, while two of Everton's current options are young, inexperienced talents in Tim Iroegbunam and Harrison Armstrong.
So far in the summer transfer window, Everton have confirmed four permanent additions. Thierno Barry, Adam Aznou, and Mark Travers are all new signings for the Merseyside club, while Carlos Alcaraz's loan deal from Flamengo was also turned permanent.

Dewsbury-Hall only moved to Chelsea last summer for a fee of around £30m. It's been a tricky period for the former Leicester City man, who has struggled to make an impact since the move to Stamford Bridge. The English midfielder was predominantly used in cup competitions, and played a crucial role in Chelsea's Europa Conference League campaign.
